Global Footprint - an ESRI Map Story 


This project explores each nations biocapacity vs its ecological footprint.  The results are displayed on the world map, visually identifying which nations have been 'creditors' or 'debtors' each year from 1961 - 2007.

"According to these calculations, on a worldwide basis we're spending more than nature can renew. in other words, we'er overshooting nature's capacity to regenerate the resources we consume."
