Download an Entire Book to a Device

The EBSCOhost and ProQuest Ebook Central platforms provide an option to download an entire book to a device for reading offline. 
  1. Download a copy of Adobe Digital Editions to your computer (EBSCOhost, and ProQuest Ebook Central all rely on Adobe Digital Editions for DRM (digital rights management). Adobe Digital Editions version 4.0.1 is the preferred version. With this latest version of Digital Editions 4.0.1, the data is sent to Adobe in a secure transmission (using HTTPS).  
  2. Open one of these vendor platforms, sign in (or create an account) on the platform to borrow an ebook for a loan period.
  3. Read the borrowed book offline on Adobe Digital Editions, or
  4. Transfer the book to a supported device (use Bluefire app for iOS and Android).

Download entire book for a loan period. Sometimes 1 - 21 days, or 1-7 days.
