Preparing for your LINC session:
Make sure you:
Access the Course Registration for the current term. Print off the Class List and track attendance in your workshop.
*NOTE: If you are unable to access this system contact the LINC Chair.
LINC reviewed lesson plans in the Spring 2014 term, and is piloting new workshops in Fall 2014. The new plans are based upon the ACRL Draft Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education, and each plan references a particular frame as its focus. As you develop your workshop, the committee encourages you to review the Framework.
LINC has developed a new student evaluation form to help assess the 4 new workshops (i.e. LIB 001 - LIB 004). When teaching one of the new workshops, instructors should use this new form.
For all other Library workshops, please continue to use the student evaluation form that we have used in the past.
If you instruct one of the new workshops, please fill out LINC's Instructor Feedback Form via FluidSurveys.
If you are scheduled to teach a workshop and have to cancel that class, follow the directions listed in the guidelines.
When thinking about YOUR learning objectives for your lesson, try following these examples for creating the LOs:
Bloom's Taxonomy and Action Verbs for Learning Objectives
