RefWorks (Classic): Import Aborted, Path Not Found

This error message is usually caused by a security setting in your Internet browser, usually Internet Explorer. Make sure that RefWorks has been added as a trusted site. The web address is http://refworks.scholarsportal.info.

To add RefWorks as a trusted site in Internet Explorer select "Tools" from the toolbar and click on "Internet Options."

 In Click on the "Security" tab, make sure "Trusted sites" is chosen, and click on "Sites."

Enter "http://refworks.scholarsportal.info/" in the space provided and click "Add."

This error message may also be caused by a cache or cookie issue.

To clear the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer click on "Tools" in the toolbar and click "Internet Options."

To clear the cache and cookies in Firefox click on "Tools" in the toolbar and click on "Clear Recent History."

Choose the time range and what you want to delete and click "Clear Now."

Trying to import new references? Modifying an output style? The more details you provide, the quicker the problem can be resolved).
