RefWorks (Classic): WNC4 is fully grayed out and you cannot log in

Greyed Out Toolbar




  1. Quit Word completely

  2. Navigate to the Application Data Folder of your profile following this path (not Program Files):








  3. Delete all files that being with ‘wnc’:





         5. Open Word. The WNC toolbar should now be active.

When you open Word, the WNC toolbar should now be active. Log out of WNC4 to prevent this from happening again. If you log in and find your toolbar grayed out again, repeat these steps.
