Tax Policy Research: Get Started

This Guide will assist you to conduct research in your tax/tax policy courses. It contains information on accessing and using a variety of resources, including the Databases to which the Library subscribes, specialized tax resources made available to you because of your enrolment in specific courses, and government resources, as well as general information on using the Library and accessing its resources.

Please note that additional information is noted for MTAX students.

Your WatCard is your Library card. Use it to borrow books from Waterloo and other University Libraries, as well as to remotely access the Waterloo Library's electronic resources.

It is extremely important to cite all references, both within your paper and in the bibliography, correctly.

There are a variety of citation styles available. For Tax 638, you must use the Canadian Tax Foundation Style Guide.
