A Planning Model for the Flipped Classroom

Welcome to the Flipped portion of our OLA Superconference Presentation. Following the model above, you are encouraged to create an out of class task (pre-class activity) before attending the conference. Through this process, you will experience a flipped classroom and learn more about the pedagogy behind it.

The flipped classroom model encourages in-class student engagement, peer-peer and student-instructor interactions to reinforce the material learned through the pre-class activities. We plan to model this process and facilitate group discussion during our presentation.
