Use filters on the left hand menu to "Modify your results"

Sort by - Your search results are automatically sorted by relevance. You can reorder it by:

• Date
• Title
• Author

Availability - Limit results to:

• Available online - lists electronic content only
• Peer-Reviewed Journals - displays content that has gone through an academic peer-reviewed process
• Open Access - limits results to content that is freely available whether or not you are logged in to the Waterloo network. It may also be peer-reviewed.
• Available in Waterloo Library - displays physical items held at the Waterloo Library

Resource Type - Limit your results to the types of resources you need. Resource Types include: articles, audiovisual, books & eBooks, conference proceedings, data sets, images, maps, newspapers, reviews, technical reports, theses & dissertations, videos and more.

Publication Date - Refine search results by date range.

Subject - Narrow search results to one of more of the available subjects relevant to your search.

Author/Creator - Includes a list of principal authors, corporations and government agencies.

Waterloo Library - Shows item's physical location within the Waterloo University library system.

Other Consortium Libraries - A list of the physical holdings of the resources in the other 15 Omni libraries.

Database - Provides a list of databases holding the searched resources.

Journal Title - A list of journal titles that include results related to your search.

Language - Limit your results by language of publication.

Genre - Search results listed by genre.
