How to Use the Scholarly Teaching Guide
Welcome to the guide on Scholarly Teaching, which is a collaboration between The Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE), the Office of Research Ethics and the Library. The purpose of this guide is to provide support for researchers in the field of Teaching and Learning, which is often an interdisciplinary topic. This guide will:
- Refresh your basic academic research skills
- Situate your topic in the teaching and learning research by providing relevant keywords from that field
- Provide you with teaching and learning-related research resources
- Provide you with information about CTE's LITE Grants
If you are a staff or faculty member at the University of Waterloo and you are interested in doing research on teaching and learning, you may be eligible to apply for funding through a Learning Innovation and Teaching Enhancement (LITE) Grant. See the LITE Grants tab of this guide for more information.
