When We Don't Have What You Need ...

  • Through the interlibrary loan form ...
    you can search other library catalogues, find a record for the paper you want, and submit your request. We will work with other libraries to obtain specific articles or back-runs of newspapers. Processing time can take 7 to 14 days -- sometimes longer depending on how readily available the newspaper is.

    Worldwide digital archive of newspapers as well as magazines. Both current and retrospective.
  • Lexis Nexis Academic
    Worldwide digital archive of newspapers, magazines, wire services, blogs and more from around the world. Both current and retrospective.
  • Paper of Record
    Digital archive of selected community newspapers from around the world. Varies by newspaper but most titles date from the early 1800s to mid 1900s.
  • PressDisplay
    Provides 60-day access, complete with images, to over 500 newspapers, from 70 countries, in 37 languages. Some articles can be read aloud, some have rough translations into English.
