Canadian Government Information: Get Started

About This Guide

Welcome to the Canadian Government Information Guide. This guide has been developed as a starting point where you can begin your research according to your needs.

University of Waterloo Library is a depository library for Canadian and Ontario government publications. The Library catalogue is therefore an essential starting point for finding government documents. Most government publications are on the 5th floor, Dana Porter Library. The library's catalogue indicates if the publication is elsewhere. Since 1990's more government documents are available online. You will find here starting points for finding online and print government documents.
