What are the different kinds of OA journals?

    • Gold OA journals:
      • All articles and related content are permanently available for free on the journal's website.
      • Authors are sometimes required to pay author processing charges (APCs).
    • Green OA journals:
      • Also called self-archiving, authors share an earlier version of their manuscript in repositories and online.
    • Diamond/Platinum OA journals:
      • This refers to journals that publish OA articles and do not require the author to pay any APC.
    • Hybrid OA journals:
      • Hybrid journals are subscription journals that contain individual OA articles.
