Biomedical Engineering: Get Started

Who I can Help

This guide is for anyone interested in Systems Design Engineering, or looking for design focused resources - whether you're an undergraduate or graduate student, as well as post-doctoral fellows and faculty affiliated with the University of Waterloo. I may be able to support alumni and community members on a case-by-case basis.

This guide can help you find and access information and resources that can support you in both teaching and learning. I'm always happy to have a conversation, so please reach out through the link in the right hand column, schedule a meeting, or message me on Teams.

How Can I Help?

  • Suggest appropriate resources to use for coursework and capstone projects
  • Consult on research methodologies and appropriate research strategies
  • Connect you with campus supports both in the Library and beyond
  • Teach workshops related to information seeking, misinformation, and technical resources

How to Use This Guide

This guide is a quick reference to learn the about different tools, resources, and strategies that might help you with your research or teaching, and to link to resources that can support this.

In each section, you'll find a mix of Library-subscribed resources that Waterloo users have access to, freely available resources that anyone can access, guides and tutorials on how to do this work well, and links to other resources across campus and beyond that could be helpful.

For more assistance, or for more complex questions, please email me or book a virtual meeting.
