ChatGPT and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI): Introduction

Introduction

As ChatGPT and similar generative AI technologies are rapidly evolving, citation styles may also change as new information becomes available. Please be sure to check back for any updates.

If you have questions regarding ChatGPT or other generative artificial intelligence software that are not covered in this guide, please consult the FAQ from the Associate Vice-President, Academic's Office.

Note: Some assignments do not permit the use of ChatGPT or AI tools. Please confirm with your course instructor or TA if a ChatBot tool is permitted. If using a ChatBot, you must cite the content used to avoid Academic Misconduct.
