As generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools are rapidly evolving, citation styles rapidly change as new guidelines around use and context are developed. Best practices for citing generative AI is to look for the most up-to-date guidance available for citing.
Note: Some assignments or courses do not permit the use of AI tools. Please confirm with your course instructor or TA if AI use is permitted. If permitted, you must properly cite the content from the AI tool to avoid Academic Misconduct.
