Over the course of your time in the Science and Business program, you may be interested in focusing some of your projects or research on Indigenous Peoples in business. If so, there are many good places to start.
The resources on this page will be focused on business research.
However, if you are interested in researching Indigenous Peoples and highlighting their voices more broadly, or learning more, two great places to start your journey are on the Indigenous Research LibGuide or the University of Waterloo's Office of Indigenous Relations' Resources & Allyship page.
The Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Studies at Cape Breton University has put together a collection of 59 case studies on Indigenous businesses. They are free to use for educational purposes.
In an effort to integrate Indigenous voices into education, Indsights has created several case studies with teachers and students in mind.
Created to help Indigenous Entrepreneurs see themselves in entrepreneurship, United College's Indigenous Entrepreneurship program has begun the process of research writing their own set of Indigenous business case studies.
