Science & Business Research Guide: Capstone Research

The research components of the capstone courses ask you to identify and synthesize the various research skills you have developed throughout your program. 

This means that being familiar with the variety of databases and searching strategies demonstrated throughout this guide is key to your success. 

If you are stuck on trying to find some particular information, think:

1. Fundamentally what type of research do I need to do?
2. What are my key concepts and their synonyms?
3. What tools might help me find this information? 

Remember: searching is iterative and you may have to try several search strategies to find what you are looking for.
