About this Guide

This guide shows several ways in which you may search for translations.

Start Here

There are two primary ways to locate translations of works:

  1. Index Translationum: This bibliography contains information about books translated and published in some 100 of UNESCO's Member States since 1979 in all disciplines.

    • When searching, combine author (and words from the title), and the target language.
      • Index Translationum: Répertoire international des traductions. International bibliography of translations.
        Ref Z6514.T7I42 Porter.
        Library has: (1949)-18 (1965), 20 (1967)-39 (1986)

  2. OMNI Catalogue: This is the library's user friendly catalogue

    • Use the Advanced Search function to begin searching for translations using the author, title, and target language as search terms.
