Stratford Campus : Get Started

Who I Serve

This guide is for Stratford campus students, faculty, instructors, and staff. Whether you're in the GBDA program, the MDEI program, or you're teaching a course, this guide should have resources to guide the research portion of your work.

I support undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students, as well as post-doctoral fellows and faculty affiliated with the University of Waterloo. I may be able to support alumni and community members on a case-by-case basis.

How Can I Help?

  • Suggest appropriate tools to use for traditional academic research and market research, industry research, and customer discovery
  • Consult on research methodologies and appropriate research strategies
  • Connect you with campus supports beyond the Library
  • Teach workshops or provide learning materials to support secondary research

How to Use This Guide?

This guide is a landing page for the most commonly used library resources by the Stratford community. You'll find access to secondary information, like journal articles and market research reports, as well as learning resources that instruct on how to do a certain kind of research.

You'll see these icons throughout the guide:

Library Resources: resources that the library pays to subscribe to. Available to current Waterloo students, staff, and faculty.

Openly Available Resources: free and open resources that anyone can use, including alumni, community users, and students on co-op.

For more assistance, or for more complex questions, please email me or book a virtual meeting.

Welcome
